Around 3000 women and children were treated under this project & free medicine were given around 1300 patients during 2018-2022.
This program is primarily targeted at under-privileged women. BMS employs a female doctor who attends on them and advises them on family planning and reproductive health, breast feeding, nutrition and personal hygiene. Awareness building sessions are also arranged on sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
In memory of Late Ivy Rahman, Bangladesh Mohila Samity organized a free eye camp for the students of BMS School. The program was sponsored by Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North-West with assistance of Light House Trust and Children’s Eye and Orthoptics Center. Eight doctors attended on 45 children and their parents.
