Parents participation in the workshop

BMS believes in the principle of inclusion of special children in mainstream education for which specialized training is required for teachers. As such, from 2004, BMS has been nominating one teacher every year to attend a three-month specialized training course sponsored by Women Council, UK, on how to run, plan, and train others to conduct community disability services within an inclusive framework.

Workshop with parents of Special Children

This program is organized jointly with an institute in Mumbai named, Able Disabled All People Together (ADAPT). BMS also set up a club named “Uttoron”,consisting of 100 members, where parents of special children can share and communicate their problems with one another.  The trained teachers and professional counselors facilitate the mothers to interact with their peer group.

A leading voluntary organization working to improve the social recognition for women and children for 'A Better Tomorrow'.
