Report on the online round table on “Mainstreaming Gender in Public Transport in a Covid World”. The meeting was organized by “Urban Catalyst” and was held on 11th November from 2.30-4.30pm. Representative from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan participated in the round table. We discussed a lot on what to do on this issue. Most of the countries have female Buss services. Due to bad scheduling and wrong routes women cannot avail the service. During my presentation I suggested that there should be colorful transportation services with appropriate frequency of timing and revised routes to cover the narrow roads. Considering the safety of women. Vehicles may big or small. Colorful, because people can identify from distance.
